Hate watching that.

Good reminder to stay off the caffeine--I really never want to be the one hooked up to the leads on the other end of that. Thanks.

What does caffeine have to do with the EKG results?

Caffeine leads to heart issues?

I ask these questions as I sip my much loved 1st cup of coffee this morning. :)

Im sorry it is not better to fade away, S/S. We will have won the abps wars by the time the latest onslaught of physician autonomy and return on investment comes to mind. That is the creation of an accountable care organization. The Obama plan as it is known is useful for everyone. Make no mistake the are forces tooling for your a piece of your paycheck. How many incarnations of a hospital/corporate owned medical practice do we have to endure: HMO, IPA, integrated practice,... ACO. It is amazing that the medical operations of your practice are legal to be owned but illegal to own. What color slavery shall we call this. It seems that collective bargaining is illegal for us to perform yet legal to be done on our behalf. The FTC has provided a path for a physician owned model which would allow collective bargaining as long as several parameters for operational and quality excellence were met. I would ask that moderate to large groups consider this as a way to stave off the demands of hospital administrations as they attempt to integrate, cover call, and force unfair contract rates.
