My New Favorite Pizza

Since Pizza Hut finally fired their delivery driver who defended himself during an armed robbery, I've had to get my pizza fix elsewhere. There are several other places that deliver pizzas around here, but none that I like all that much.

So now, I just keep some of these in the freezer. Good stuff.

I tried one of these recently (my way of brown bagging to the office). I was surprised at how good it was. Will buy it again.

Freschetta formerly(?) made a sauce-stuffed pizza.

Orgasm in pie form, I'm telling you.

Ehhhh. I dunno. In New York you'd never hear the terms "extra thin crust" and "Sicilian" used in the same sentence.

Thank you for that reminder! I had been meaning to write to Pizza Hut for a long time to tell them why they were no longer selling Pizzas to me but I had forgotten.

Thank you.

I love California Pizza Kitchen, but they're quite expensive when you're feeding several. They sell their Thai Chicken Pizza, frozen, for about $5 at Wal-Mart. Much better than the ~$20 I was paying for it in the restaurant in Hawaii.

I was thinking the other day about how you haven't posted a recipe in a long time. I guess this will have to do until you get back into the kitchen!

Maybe I'll post the one I made tonight:

baked red snapper with tomatoes, onions, peppers, and garlic.

Here in Orlando, we have a few California Pizza Kitchen locations. They are always jam-packed with people and for good reason, it's delicious.

Confused Liability Produces Bad Policy

It is the strange ideas in the law about liablility that required firing the driver.

The company can't win. It is supposed to control everything in its environment, or pay dearly.

I have just finished eating 3 slices of this delectable accomplishment of mass produced culinary genius -- this is saying much given I most usually only eat 1 slice of any pizza accompanied by some variety of rabbit food in a bowl (ie, arugula, romaine, etc.) You will be billed accordingly for what I predict to be my ensuing morbid obesity. ;)

I'm really sorry.
You've never actually had good, real pizza in your life, have you?

Well, I know that I in fact have. I live in Chicago -- and we know our pizza. Not like those New Yorkers think they know pizza, either. We actually know our pizza. Unfortunately, I work 70 hours a week and rarely have time to stop in a pizza joint. When I do have time to eat out it's usually not at a pizza joint. Why am I still writing....
