A fun day at an amusement park ends badly when an 11 year old girl somehow gets her hair caught in a ferris wheel.Amazing case report and description of the repair, with graphic pictures.

And I'm saving the pictures to show to Mr M next time he pisses me off too!
Holy hanna. Thank God she's alive! Something like that happened at the mine where my dad works; only it was a guy with long hair and he leaned into the crusher and got it caught on the rotating gears. Sadly, he didn't live. Scary stuff man.
Once you see it, you can't un-see it.
Isn't medicine awesome!? How can anyone say that doctors make too much? Even with the pics and text, I'm not sure everyone can appreciate what skill it takes to complete a cosmetically aesthetic, viable reattachment.
What is really amazing is that the accident and subsequent successful cosmetic surgery occurred in a third-world country.
And I'm ashamed to say that I looked also.
I can't believe how cleanly the scalp separated from the skull. Utterly riveting and diabolically gruesome.
I looked, too. I'm putting Borax on my pre-frontal lobe to wipe out that memory.
Why did I look? Why?
I have to say the scalped girl's pictures are amazing though.
