Thanks for bringing this to our attention, Scalpel. Victims need to know they are not, and were never, alone.
Scalpel, of course I don't mind you linking. I'm actually honored - you've made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside.
I'm glad that awareness can be brought to this issue. There's nothing more cowardly than preying on someone weaker than you; either physically, mentally, or emotionally. I make it one of my priorities to help raise awareness that spousal and domestic abuse still happens.
And it's not just man on woman anymore. It goes both ways. Victims should not be brushed aside because they're not the stereotypical targets. They all need help - if they want it - and should be given fair and equal access to it.
Awareness is invaluable. Thanks for this.
